Bannock, or as some call it, “scone,” has a long history with the Indigenous people of North America, for reasons of practicality, survival and nostalgia. Chris Beaver makes a video featuring his father, Carl Beaver, who invites us into his home in Alderville First Nation to demonstrate making bannock while reflecting on a lifetime of loving it.
