There are many partners involved in reconciliation in the urban Vicotria area including: Victoria Native Friendship Centre (VNFC), Métis Nation of Greater Victoria (MNGV), City of Victoria, District of Saanich, Capital Regional District, Indigenous Services Canada, Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation (MIRR), artists, youth, and elders. This inclusive process reflects a grassroots approach where the ultimate accountability is to the urban Indigenous community of the Victoria area, and their allies. The partners will work together to explore common interests through the Advisory Panel, Steering Committee and the supporting Working Group.
