Greater Victoria residents are invited to mark the second-ever National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with a community powwow, organized by the Songhees Nation and other area municipalities.

The South Island Powwow will take place at the Royal Athletic Park, with doors opening at 10AM, opening ceremony at 11AM, and the grand entry at noon followed by intertribal dances. The evening schedule is launched by another grand entry at 6PM, with the event ending with the retirement of colours around midnight.
