On June 3, 2019, the Final Report of the National Inquiry into the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls was released. This report contains important but challenging information and firsthand accounts of violence experienced by Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit+ people. Many of us feel compelled to read this difficult Final Report, and so let’s read it together.
The Victoria Native Friendship Centre, in partnership with the Rainbow Health Cooperative, would like to support those interested in reading the Final Report with a supported environment. Help us understand how to do that. Come to our Discussion Session and provide guidance about how we can take this journey together in a safe way.
